This new moon marks a turning point. For the past month, we’ve been in the receptive zone, ideally boosting our sense of divine love and compassion and surrendering to a larger dream for ourselves. If we tried to take action, it may have felt like the target was moving. In addition, overwhelm and self-doubt crept up if we pushed too hard. Now, with two feet decidedly in the fiery, visionary, Aries camp, we are ready to set something in motion.
This new moon in particular is focused on ideation. We’ll need to sift and sort to test the ideas, however let your mind run a bit wild first. Whereas Pisces dissolves problems, Aries uses them as a jumping off point for creativity and innovation. Saturn is square this new moon, bringing up a stark sense of our current limitations. Keep in mind, though, that these are not permanent and will change and evolve as we grow. We do have some important decisions that need to be made by 4/13. Use this new moon to explore all angles and embrace a sense of possibility so you don’t just accept the status quo as the given path forward. You have hidden resources and abilities that it is time to activate.
With Venus, Neptune, and Mercury all fairly cozy with each other in Pisces, we have access to inspiration and the ability to tap into the current that’s running underneath the external reality we are currently experiencing. Whereas with Pisces we are more content to go with the flow, this Aries New Moon wants us to get our hands in the clay and more actively shape the path forward. We’ll need to experiment and adjust to get it right, especially with Mars ruling this new moon in Gemini. Are there some ways you can safely test out an approach before going all in? By looking at our options, we’ll experience ourselves in a new way and bring forward some latent talents that we need in this next chapter.
With this new moon it’s important to foster a certain level of independence so you can track and explore your impulses. Cultivate a sense of single-mindedness of purpose for yourself. What does it look like to be your own best advocate? We’ll have the opportunity to stabilize and build with the Taurus energy later in the month. Right now we are focusing on the spark of inspiration and passion that gets us fired up and the creative juices flowing.
