When we think or talk about the past, we always have the opportunity to see it as a liability or a strength. How do we really know if our experience, which is what has made us who we are, is helping or hindering us in any given situation? This full moon we’re reframing how we talk about our past so that it supports the level of self-mastery that we’ve achieved. It’s a fine act of liberation to claim who you are and whose you are and to answer to the guidance of your heart versus the current audience.
The moon opposes the Sun-Venus conjunction in Leo, giving us ample opportunity to celebrate the uniqueness and beauty of ourselves and others. This very much a “free to be you and me” aspect, and we’ll be coming to some important conclusions about what we are in the process of creating as well as who we are creating with. Deeply held desires within us come roaring forward, begging to be acknowledged. We’re able to tap into our past wisdom much more effectively than before, allowing us to take this passion and put it into action. The power of our creative partnerships is shining brightly, and it’s important to acknowledge and appreciate those that are in this adventure with you.
Our minds are being asked to stretch and grow in ways that might be uncomfortable for our ego and our sense of identity. This could lead to some restlessness and jumpiness. If you are having any trouble focusing, do whatever you enjoy doing to release excess mental energy, like getting outside or exercising. We have the opportunity to burn through mental obstacles and cultivate some “aha” moments if we are willing to be more flexible with our own ideas of who we are.
This full moon offers ample opportunity to celebrate, enjoy, and savor all that we’ve lived in 2019. It’s possible you’ve been moving too fast to do this in the last couple of months, so utilize this opportunity to fill up your heart and soul. Find ways to celebrate your own creativity and the creativity of others. Festivals, music, art, dancing, etc. are all great options.
Questions to Ponder: How can I empower and lift up those I care about? What special qualities about myself am I most aware of right now? Where can I proudly own my past decisions and experiences? What experiences are stretching my mind and my consciousness?
