With this new moon we deepen into our emotional truth. And this truth has the potential to be complex and complicated. Scorpio understands that there is so much more beneath the surface, and this energy is constantly probing and searching for that which isn’t immediately visible to our naked eye. As we’ll most likely be making a tough call or big decision with Saturn square Mars on the day of this new moon, we’ll have intuition on our side to anchor us in how we really feel. This may put some stress on our relationships, but if you attempt to try to have things both ways without making a decision, you’ll exacerbate the situation even more.
Uranus opposed the Sun and Moon, liberating us from past emotional patterns. We have the option to respond differently than we have historically, which can lead to breakout moments. The emotional truth of the situation will set us free. Wherever we are trying to be stoic or put on the blinders and strive and work ourselves silly, the universe calls our bluff. There’s no use trying to pretend that you’re happy when you’re not. We may be faced with an unexpected situation, which is the perfect avenue to pay attention to your response in the moment. Our intuition has some important messages for us to heed and pay attention to.
I expect, post new moon, we’ll actually feel a sense of relief. With Mars in Libra we’ve been on the fence about something, and the stress of any indecision may have impacted us more than we realized at first. What if there isn’t a right or wrong call for you to make? What if whatever is most truthful to you is the best option? In our process we may need some alone time to process and feel out where to go from here. The good news is you don’t have to figure it all out right now. The fall out from this new moon will take some time to process and Mercury will be supporting us by going retrograde in Scorpio this week (10/31-11/20).
In summary, we’re at a turning point, emotionally speaking. Our awareness of our strength and capability to meet a current challenge with aplomb can buoy our spirits. And at the same time, don’t be surprised if you feel some grief or disappointment about what could have been. Whenever we make a decision, there are always tradeoffs. We just need to go the direction that feels emotionally true for ourselves. That’s the starting point, and more will be revealed in the coming weeks.
Intentions: My decisions are based on the union of my mind, heart, and spirit. I channel any anger or frustration into creativity. My growth right now comes through the acknowledgement of my emotions. I take the next best step for me at this point in time, knowing that more will be revealed.
