One of Virgo’s superpowers is putting things in order by being discerning and specific. This is a balancing tonic to the Pisces energy afoot that is looser, more big picture, and can be flowing all over the place. As I like to say, the divine is in the details, and Virgo energy understands this inside and out. If you want to increase your level of discernment to let in more light and see better, the first step is to clean your windows, energetically speaking. This is especially important for this full moon. If you follow an idea without first clearing your mind, you might miss something important. Make this clearing work simple. Just go for a walk in nature with the intention of clearing your mental space. You could also do some writing and then burn it if you are drawn to that practice. And if you are drawn to cleaning or organizing your physical space, go for it. You know the feeling when you walk into a room that’s just been cleaned, the way your psyche and physical self can relax and just be? That’s what we’re looking for.
The ruler of this full moon, Mercury, is in a nice sextile to Uranus which means you’ll be getting some practical and useful ideas you can put to use right away. Focus on the solution that you want and improve the questions you are asking versus expending all of your mental energy on what’s not working. If this is challenging for you, just focus on how you think you would feel if things were working out, and let the ideas bubble up from there.
There is a cleansing aspect to this full moon as well. Where can you absolve yourself of guilt and anything else that may be weighing you down? Atone for anything that you might regret or wish you had a do-over for. Virgo is energized by continuous improvement, and part of doing this in a constructive way is to start with a radical acceptance of your humanity as well as your worthiness. It’s ok for you to back up and try something again. Accepting your present state while working towards improvement aren’t mutually exclusive activities. Release and clear any strict standards or black and white thinking that isn’t serving you.
Questions to Ponder: How might I use my powers of analysis to build on what’s already working and amplify that energy? Where am I called to clean and organize my personal spaces? What’s a simple practice to clear my mind that I can integrate in my daily practice?
