“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.” – Albert Einstein
This is a famous quote by Einstein, and many people just reference the first sentence. I was fascinated to see his link of imagination to evolution in the second part, how knowledge is limited and can’t embrace the entire world. This idea is especially important for this new moon because you are getting access to a boatload of imagination to help you evolve.
Human doing versus human being. Where do you currently place yourself on that scale? If you find yourself overly identified with what you are doing versus who you are, this new moon will help touch your heart and allow you to feel into possibilities and potentials that are latent within you. While there is an abundance of compassion and love with Neptune and Venus joining each other in the sky, Saturn in the final degrees of Aquarius is right next to this new moon. You are being asked to step up and commit to your dreams and ideals, not just meditate on them. The space between a vision and reality is narrowing, especially as we prepare for Saturn to enter Pisces on 3.7 for the next 2.5ish years. What if it’s not even about human doing versus human being? Instead, the question is how do you enjoy the creative tension between the two, and how does this power you to transcend any self-imposed limitations?
Pisces energy works by dissolving any boundaries that we’ve erected that keep us from a true experience of our beauty and true nature. When your sense of yourself is too small, Pisces reminds you to tap into your imagination and align with your dreams and hopes. Sometimes it feels overwhelming, the gap between where you are and where you want to be. Then you might fall prey to a vague sense of frustration and helplessness. Remind yourself that your ideas are like a north star, they guide you. The point is not to get to the north star, just to head in that direction and acknowledge that you have latent potentials within you that you may not even be aware of yet to help you on your journey.
There is compassion and inspiration in droves with Neptune conjunct Venus for this new moon. Use it to soften any rough edges, to forgive yourself and others for past transgressions, as it feels in integrity to do so. Magic, inspiration, and psychic abilities are heightened. Utilize your creative outlets to channel the inspiration and imagination that is tapping you on the shoulder.
Intentions: I cultivate my observation skills to notice where the gap is narrowing between vision and reality in my world. I surrender and release any limitations that I’ve outgrown. I enjoy tapping into my imagination and taking delight in the wonders of the universe.
