For this new moon, you may feel in limbo between your aspirations and your current situation. Neptune squares this new moon, encouraging you to dissolve barriers and boundaries that have kept your perception overly boxed in. The question is, now that you’ve gazed upon something you want that appears out of reach, what now? This is not the universe playing some trick on you. Your nature is to continually expand and to reach for more. The first step is to reorganize your thinking and attitude to reach for the dream despite your logical brain not knowing how it’s all going to come together.
Venus and Mars join together in the sky in Leo, the feminine and masculine engaged in a passionate dance. This aspect makes me think of two expert dancers doing flamenco, with all of the passion, intensity, and pride that the dance conveys. The good news is that you have creativity in spades to dissolve or step around any mental blocks. Use your passion and heart to help orient you out of any mental fog or confusion.
Saturn, square Mercury, the ruler of this new moon, asks you to create some structure and boundaries. With this aspect, you need to do your homework, do the preparation and planning. You are rarely rewarded for winging it with this aspect. Think of how a master performer practices and rehearses for hours, days, weeks, to make what they do appear effortless and magical. As the late Prince once sang, “there is joy in repetition.” There are different interpretations of the song, however, my association with it is my dance teacher putting it on and working through the steps until the class got the hang of them. It’s a reminder that it’s all part of the process, that we can fully enjoy and inhabit every step.
Intentions: I acknowledge my resilience and resourcefulness as an ever-expanding being of energy. My heart and my passion power me through any mental ruts/stories that I’ve outgrown. I commit to practice and improve my skills for something that I enjoy.
