There is wisdom in knowing when to push forward and when to hold off. This new moon asks you to reflect on where you might need to wait for your turn to conserve your energy. What seems like a roadblock or an unwanted change might be a hard pill to swallow, but the medicine and learning behind current events will eventually be revealed as time passes.
Because Pluto features prominently in this new moon, you have the opportunity to heal some deep-seated issues with authority. The way to do this is to take your power back so you can better align your dreams and ideals with your work in the world. If you don’t have examples of healthy leadership at the ready, seek them out. It may be someone you don’t know or someone who has passed on. That doesn’t matter. What does matter is that they embody an aspirational style of leading that you resonate with and can learn from. Write down what healthy leadership looks like, especially if you feel powerless regarding an authority figure. Mars is also in Capricorn and makes some nice aspects to Jupiter and Saturn, which gives you support to take action and be assertive with what you want and what you know to achieve positive outcomes.
Because Mercury is square Neptune, conversations, and communication may take a vague or disorganized turn. Let go of trying to get clarity right now. If you want to know if you can trust someone, look at their past actions. Do they have a record of following through? Take someone’s actions more seriously than their words right now.
Capricorn rules the default roles we play in work or team situations. Pay attention to any needs you have to control or plan that may be muddying the waters. If you instead typically sit back and let others take the lead, experiment with engaging earlier on in the process, and see what you learn. Your work has the potential to be rewarding and give purpose to your life, but if you cut yourself off from your creative energy by sticking to a role that you always play, you run the risk of getting bored and stuck.
Intentions: I have examples of healthy leadership and I refer to them often for guidance. I release patterns around controlling/planning in the face of the unknown that no longer serve me. I know when to conserve my energy and when to push forward.
